- During the fight, we hear a voice from what Nia suspects is a demonic creature from another plane. "My master will take your power too" it said and "my form cannot be destroyed" as the last beaver was slain.

- I saw Nia trying to get away to keep the baby safe, but she was chased down by some of the minions. Marius looks like she's trying to get over to help her. I hope she's ok.

- The crystal that seems to be melting away the blue crystals embedded in the central monument is larger and more powerful than it appeared from a distance. When Nia Moonwhisper or Jeremy get too close, it seems to pull their power in. Jeremy said he feels connected to it somehow.

- Once we defeat the mage, Nia Moonwhisper takes the amulet and her staff. The amulet is silver with a silver chain.
- The crystal can even suck powers from magical beings. At one point in the fight, Nia Moonwhisper and Jeremy lost a level 1 spell slot.

- We go check out the graves we had found previously - but the door is locked. Can't unlock it. Front door is locked too!
- I get terrified and break the window to try to save Panalin, Jeremy, and Nia Moonwhisper

- Nia Moonwhisper talks to Yarasule about her amulet and the drow crystal necklace. Her amulet pulses in time with the tattoo, which is of some fey plants.

- We search Dirval's room to look for clues about her disappearance.
- Nia Moonwhisper uses Detect Magic to see what's going on in the room, particularly looking for Free Magic. She sees a very faint glow coming from under the desk. A small cut, clear crystal. Abjuration, evocation, enchantment, and free magic.
- After the events of 2025-12-14 Game Day, Nia Moonwhisper gets a message from Yarasule via sending stone: "Reached crystal on Glanduin Island. Guardian fellow delightful. Research complete by 6 Austus. Pray drow are not suspicious and stay away. What news from Durnford?"
- Nia Moonwhisper goes off to find Sakima Faelyn Elkhazel. Also to inquire about Jeremy's snake situation.
