2026-02-06 Stupid Lemur

• We get jumped by a bunch of folks. Long, curved daggers in their belt. Sashes. About a dozen of them come out of the Hammered Rat. A mix of humans and half-orcs. Calling them Blue Sash Guys.
• They seem to have abducted Pepnik
• Sica is leader of Blue Sash Guys. He is from Urdas Kirr.
• Krix stumbles away from the fight to get a better vantage point.
• Nia Moonwhisper casts magic missile in the middle of the negotiation. Roll initiative!
• Krix sees a lemur looking creature on the roof next door. It stole stuff from us! Jeremy hits it with fire bolt.
• Chase ensues!!
  • We start at 2 "gaps" and do opposed skill checks to try to close the gap.
  • I go down 1 gap
  • Down another gap as I tried to jump onto a wall
  • Tripped over a loose cobblestone and drop another gap
• Krix kills the stupid lemur. I take a deep aqua blue headband from him, the same as the other guys had. Worth looking into.
• We cut off the lemur’s head and tail for Panalin
• Head back to Elk and Ankheg Inn and avoid telling anyone about the blue sash people
• Panalin builds my Fist in a Box
• We go to bed

• Hubert gave us the map. And he said his dad wants us to escort a new worker to Lumber Operation, Folin Quivaler, a young wild elf. Elk clan.
• He also gave us a scroll of sending.
• Folin Quivaler said Red the Lumber Buyer was talking with Blue Sash Guys last night. Sash guys are sailors from out of town.
• Red the Lumber Buyer has a collection of elvish instruments.
• We head out for Gloomsedge. We see a sick dark black ship in the harbor. Worth looking into. Maybe privateers from The Empire? Likely related to the Blue Sash Guys
• Hubert used detect magic on one of the Towers once. Weird results
• We make it to Gloomsedge and to Avic the Bartender’s Inn. He has some theories about the Elf Disappearances Near Lumber Camp
  • Many people of Gloomsedge were upset that the Lumber Operation wasn’t sold to a local.
  • I get another sending stone message. “You are demoted two ranks. Hold position and protect crystal. Operative Sister Checkina will meet you soon.”
  • We sleep in the barn. I get more shadowy creepy dreams.
