2025-04-06 Approaching The Crystal Camp

We found ourselves in the dim forest, with a clearing ahead illuminated by the late morning sun.

• Silvery-purple fancy tent, with otherwise dingy tents around the camp.
• The crystal that seems to be melting away the blue crystals embedded in the central monument is larger and more powerful than it appeared from a distance. When Nia Moonwhisper or Jeremy get too close, it seems to pull their power in. Jeremy said he feels connected to it somehow.
  • The crystal seems to be absorbing energy from the monument's crystals.
• There's also a boulder with 4 stone staves around it, each with a crystal on top. Nia nearly destroyed one before the large boulder seemed to paralyze her!
  • Nia saw runes on the boulder that seemed to be a version of the Hold Person spell.
• Panalin and I sneak up on a goblin but we crack a branch and 4 more goblins come rushing out of a nasty smelling tent.
• 2 drow appear, no shadows around them this time.
• The silvery blue large spider has Ghostly Snare and can turn invisible.
• The apparent leader of the operation is a sexy drow mage with purple-silver clothes, a slit up to her waist, and a magic staff. Total baddie.
  • She emits a darkness aura of some sort around her.
  • Zaithar wants to understand more about what seems like shadow magic from the sexy blue-silver mage.
  • Find out the sexy blue-silver mage's name before or after we kill her.
• Super dark winged creature.
• I use my Mage Hand from the Bracers of Prestidigitation to wrap a rope around the big crystal. We tried to pull it down, but need to try again. We are each holding one end of it when we ended session.
